Enroute from Liard
Hot Springs to Watson Lake in the Yukon, we saw a half dozen black bear along
the road. We stopped to take pictures of the first four, then I had to tell
Margareta no more stopping unless it was for a Grizzly! We had enough black bear
pictures and we'd never get to the Yukon tonight ;) LOL!!! She was having such
a great time seeing them all :)
And they were fun to
watch :)
Almost to Watson
Lake, we came across this herd of Wood Bison. Just lounging along the roadside.
They are certainly formidable animals!
And not expecting
this, but a group of wild horses. Margareta thinks they may belong to the First
Nation Indians, that let there horses roam free.
I loved this little
one :)
We finally made it to
our destination and checked into an RV Park with Wifi. It's time to rest up and
catch up on laundry and blog posts.
Today, we're off to
visit and make our mark at the Signpost Forrest. Then, it's time for Margareta
and I to say our cya laters as we travel off in opposite directions for the
rest of the summer.
Thank you Vicki :) I'm glad you are enjoying the posts. Thanks for following along :)
ReplyDeleteSee, aren't you glad you are doing this blog. Look at all the great memories you have already recorded. You sure got a lot of different wildlife this day. Love it!
ReplyDeleteYou are right Colleen :) I still like the convenience of posting to FB better ;) But I'm glad you talked me into it.
