North Pole, AK

August 2nd, the next stop is the North Pole! A quaint little town with streets all named with Christmas names and the light posts are candy canes :)

And of course, you have to go visit Santa ;)

There is a very nice gift shop with all things Christmas.

And the man himself! I didn't sit on his lap, but I did thank him for my Alaska trip as an early Christmas present :) It turns out he spends his winters in the Texas Hill Country. I asked him to let the cold weather up here! ;)

I also visited his reindeer :)

And indulged in some of this fudge before I left! ;)
